PREHEAT YOUR CAST IRON

Our heavy-gauge cast iron base is designed for even heat distribution and retention – just preheat for a few minutes on low-medium heat. We love butter for frying eggs but oil and other animal fat also works wonders.

TEST THE TEMP

Ready to get cracking? Dash a few drops of water on your cookware and if it dances, you’re at the right temperature. The pan will smoke or the water will evaporate quickly if it is too hot. Simply remove from the heat to cool down.

CHOOSE YOUR UTENSIL

Pre-seasoned with organic flaxseed oil, our cast iron seasoning improves with every use and near non-stick performance out-of-the-box. Our CNC machined cook surface is designed to withstand any utensil, but a thin metal spatula pairs well with a fried egg.

COOKING TIME

Cooking time depends on your desired yolk texture.
  • Sunny side up egg: 1 1/2 minutes
  • Over Easy egg: Cook about 2 1/2 minutes
  • Over Medium: Flip at 2 1/2 minutes and cook for additional 30 seconds

STYLE & SERVE
